Southeast Portland is rich with history and personality. You'll find several separate thriving commercial districts, where housing meshes with retail activity. Each district has its own vibe and you'll have fun exploring each of them.
Carved out along the northeast edge of our beloved Willamette River, North Portland offers it's own spectacular vistas of the river, downtown and the west hills of Portland. It's home to charming neighborhoods as well as the University of Portland.
Often referred to as the "Alphabet District" - this historic moniker refers to the alphabetical naming of the area’s east-west streets. Northwest Portland is packed full of retail and residential spaces outlined by lovely walkable streets. Head west just up the hill to Forest Park, one of the largest urban natural areas in the country.
If you want access to all that the city has to offer but are looking to live outside the city, some of the outer neighborhoods and towns may be a great fit. Places like Hillsdale, and Lake Oswego to Bethany, Cedar Mills, Beaverton and Hillsboro often offering larger lots, more space and great schools.
We love Northeast Portland for it's urban living, historic homes, tree-lined streets, city parks, and several vibrant shopping areas with independent boutiques. Northeast Portland offers some of the best farmers' markets in the city as well!
Southwest Portland attracts people for its established neighborhoods, densely forested areas and hiking trails, amazing views of the mountains, downtown and the river with easy access to the Nike campus, Intel and OHSU. Southwest Portland is home to a bustling downtown condo scene, the International Rose Test Garden, Japanese Gardens, Hoyt Arboretum, Children’s Museum, and the Oregon Zoo.
